Yearbook sales are ending soon. There will be no reprints and only a handful of extras so please order through the PTA website. Valentine's Day
We will exchange Valentines on Friday. If your child would like to participate, please send in 22 cards. Students may decorate a shoebox to use as a mailbox. Please make sure the box is no bigger than a regular size shoe box. Participation is optional, but if your child is giving Valentines, please bring one for everyone in the class. If your child does not want to make a box, please send in a small bag to use to collect the Valentines they receive. Be sure to ask your child what the difference is between a play dough problem and a rock problem.
We are working on determining our next steps for the 2nd grade Butterfly garden. If your child started a new FAST class, please send in a note letting me know that they are taking the class - one note is fine for the semester unless you prefer to send a weekly note. It's also helpful if you remind your child that they have FAST class on the day of their class. Remember that Monday is Martin Luther King Day so enjoy the day off of school.
