Thank you to all of you for joining the TTF and supporting our school during the TTF Annual Fundraiser this past week. Your contributions are an investment in the education of every student at Tritt! We had a lot of fun on Friday with our Science experiment making Coke Floats where we investigated how states of matter change.
This coming week we will have our first Guidance lesson with our amazing counselor, Mrs. Grindstaff. Please note that on Wednesday we have Early Release so please send in a transportation note if your child will go home a different way. Our classroom is very chilly! You may want to keep a sweater or jacket in your child's backpack on a daily basis if they have been cold. I wear a jacket most days when we are in our room. Here's a look at what we're learning next week: Math - Addition and Subtraction Strategies within 10 Reading - Story Structure, Major Events and Challenges Language Arts - Long vs. Short Syllable words; Parts of Speech (nouns, verbs, adjectives) Spelling - Phonics Unit 3 *Spelling Test on Friday* Writing - Personal Narratives (Write about a small moment in your life) Science - Matter Can Change States Upcoming Dates to Remember: August 29th Early Release (School is dismissed 2 hours early) September 3rd Labor Day - No School September 13th Field Trip to Fire Safety Village September 24th - 28th Fall Break - No School Comments are closed.
